Reginella d'Abruzzo is a six month aged pecorino from the region of Abruzzo. Against the backdrop of green mountains and numerous national parks, this cheese is made in a traditional, ancient way with milk from sheep that graze on these mountain pastures. The paste is semi-firm with few eyes, and has a much sweeter flavor than the typical pecorinos from southern Italy that are very sharp and piquant.
